Hotel Information

Boston is a very busy city, especially in the summer! We recommend that you finalize your local arrangements early. There are a number of options for accommodations that the workshop was able to secure. 

BU Dormitory Option ($80 per day)

The workshop has secured a block of 50 single-occupancy dormitory rooms in the brand new facility in the Student Village on the Boston University Campus. These dormitories are within walking distance from the center of Campus where the workshop will be held. More information about these accommodations is available from the web site for the 10 Buick Street Residence. At $80 a day (at the heart of Boston) this is by far the cheapest and most convenient option.

Note that your stay can only be extended until August 14.

Rooms in the BU Dorms can only be booked until Friday, July 23, 2004.

To secure a room in the BU Dormitories, you must pre-register (by May 31) and you must send full payment along with your registration fees (registration form is available here). Ideally located on the Commonwealth Avenue, the Hotel Commonwealth is a newly created independent hotel that combines the style, service and comfort of a bygone era, with the amenities and features of the new millennium. The Hotel Commonwealth is within walking distance from the center of the BU Campus.
