IEEE International Symposium on a World of Wireless, Mobile and Multimedia Networks
WoWMoM’15 is using the EDAS Conference Management Software. Submit manuscripts conforming to the guidelines given below.
Papers must be unpublished and must not be submitted or under review for publication elsewhere. Technical Program Committee members and other experts active in the field will review submitted papers to ensure high quality and relevance to the conference program. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings to be published by IEEE press.
Submissions may be up to 9 pages in length (including figures and references), formatted in two-column IEEE conference style with font size 10 point or greater. For the camera-ready (accepted) papers, authors can buy one additional page, i.e. up to 10 pages.
For guidelines regarding formatting, please refer to the
IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings.
Work-in-progress papers provide a peer-reviewed forum for late-breaking or preliminary research results, giving an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to present and demonstrate their recent research, and to obtain feedback from their peers in an informal setting. Work-in-progress paper submissions may be up to 3 pages in length (including figures and references), with the option of purchasing one extra page upon acceptance, formatted in two-column IEEE conference style with font size 10 point or greater.
Authors of unsuccessful full paper submissions, where relevant and appropriate, could be invited to consider the publication of their contribution as a work-in-progress paper (in that case authors would need to agree to shorten their paper according with the work-in-progress paper length).
To ensure the accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, the camera-ready versions must be submitted by April 22, 2015, as indicated below:
Please note that unless these conditions are met, we will not be able to include your paper in the conference proceedings or in IEEE Xplore.
The WoWMoM organizers reserve the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
Individual PDFs of accepted papers must be prepared according to the IEEE PDF specification for IEEE Xplore (http://www.ieee.org/portal/pages/pubs/confstandards/pdfs.html).
Before creating a pdf, please be sure to add the copyright notice to the bottom of the first page of your source document. Instructions about the copyright notice to add can be found below, under the Copyright Information section.
All submitted pdf files must pass the IEEE PDF eXpress check.
First-time users should do the following:
Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous coferences. Verify that your contact is valid.
Detailed instructions on how to use IEEE PDF eXpress are available here. Please note that IEEE PDF eXpress is the final collection site for camera-ready (accepted) papers for this conference. EDAS will NOT be used to collect camera-ready papers.
All authors must submit the camera-ready version of their paper through IEEE PDF eXpress (see above). You will need to go to your author account and make sure to click on "Approve for Collection". PDF eXpress will be open for WoWMoM 2015 starting on March 16, 2015.
Important: The deadline for submission is April 22, 2015 (11:59pm EDT) – hard deadline.
An IEEE Copyright Form must be submitted for each paper. Authors are allowed to file IEEE copyright forms electronically.
To upload copyright forms, first log into EDAS, then go to “My Papers” tab and click on the ‘(c)’ icon under the column “Copyright Form” where your paper is located.
You will be redirected to the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form website. Please provide carefully the answers that best apply to you. Once the copyright form has been successfully recorded, you will receive a confirmation email.
Note: If one of the author is authorized to sign the copyright on behalf of all the authors, the copyright form shall be submitted by that author. Otherwise, answer “Yes” when asked “Should another Author or Corporate Officer complete the electronic Copyright Form?” and ensure the other authors complete this process.
Additional information can be found here.
IEEE policy requires that prior to publication all authors or their employers must transfer to the IEEE in writing any copyright they hold for their individual papers. Please visit the following URL to learn more about securing copyright transfer, and to register your interest in using the electronic IEEE Copyright Form for your conference. IEEE Copyright Form
